You thought it would last forever. You prayed for forever. You built plans for forever. And now, that forever feels like it’s slipping away. That reality hurts—but holding on to something that’s slowly destroying you will hurt even more.

Letting go of someone you envisioned a life with does not mean your prayers failed. It means God heard what you could not. He saw the betrayal you didn’t see. He felt the heartbreak ahead that you would not have survived. Separation does not mean your story is over—it means the wrong chapter is closing so the right one can begin.
